Ján Voloch is a partner at alianciaadvokátov ak, s.r.o., where he has been working since 2004, when he joined the firm as a trainee lawyer. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in 2002 and has been continuously engaged in legal practice ever since. Between 2002 and 2005, he worked as a trainee lawyer, and following his admission to the Slovak Bar in 2006, he has been practicing as an attorney-at-law.
Since 2008, he has provided ongoing legal advice to one of the world's largest international wholesale companies, gaining extensive experience in handling complex commercial law matters.
His practice focuses primarily on commercial law, with a particular emphasis on transportation law, especially aviation law and the law governing domestic and international road freight transport. In the field of aviation law, he provides legal counsel on aircraft leasing transactions. In the area of road freight transport, he mainly represents carriers in judicial disputes with insurers and transport customers concerning claims arising under the CMR Convention.
A significant part of his professional expertise also lies in pharmaceutical law. He represents pharmaceutical companies manufacturing original medicinal products and advises them on regulatory matters, the labeling and advertising of medicinal products and medical devices, as well as pricing and reimbursement issues.
An integral part of his practice is the representation of clients before courts in commercial, civil, and employment disputes.
In the past, he was also involved in significant international privatization transactions and processes. In this capacity, he participated in the preparation of energy legislation for the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic and the Regulatory Office for Network Industries.
