Before starting his career as an attorney, Peter gained legal experience in various positions in the public administration sector, including at the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic and the Council for Broadcasting and Retransmission, where he served as Head of the Legal and Control Department of the Office of the Council. He also worked in the banking sector at various Slovak banks and at a company belonging to a banking group, as well as in other commercial companies. These positions provided him with valuable legal experience in various specific areas of administrative law, criminal law, enforcement law, commercial and corporate law, banking law, and debt management and recovery.
In November 2003, he successfully passed the bar examination of the Slovak Bar Association.
Peter commenced his independent legal practice as an attorney on 6 September 2007, with his registered office at Čáčovská 305, 905 01 Senica. He is registered in the list of attorneys maintained by the Slovak Bar Association under registration number 5751.
During his legal practice, Peter has focused on various areas of commercial and corporate law, civil law, and debt management and recovery. He provided legal services to a subsidiary of a foreign bank engaged in recovering receivables assigned by a Slovak bank, handling all types of related legal matters, including bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings, voluntary auctions, enforcement proceedings, and other matters. His practice also includes representing clients before courts.
Peter is also an experienced criminal defence attorney, representing clients in criminal matters before courts of all instances and other law enforcement authorities. Since 2010, he has been regularly appointed as ex officio defence counsel by the District Court in Senica.
During his practice, he has also dealt with administrative law, including representing clients before courts in administrative judicial proceedings, family law matters such as divorce, maintenance and child custody, and constitutional law. He has successfully represented clients before the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic in cases involving violations of their constitutional rights, including the right to judicial protection.
A significant part of his practice has been carried out for English-speaking clients, with whom he communicates in English.
