Martina graduated from the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava and the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University in Bratislava, where she specialised in History and Archival Studies. From 2002 to 2005, she completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law of Trnava University.
Martina worked as a trainee lawyer at alianciaadvokátov ak, s.r.o. from 2000 to 2002 and has continued to cooperate closely with alianciaadvokátov ak, s.r.o. to this day. Since 2010, Martina has served as Vice-Dean for Full-Time Bachelor's and Master's Studies and Social Welfare at the Faculty of Law of Trnava University. Since 2007, she has also served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Theory of Law and Constitutional Law at the Faculty of Law of Trnava University.
Since 2011, she has been a member of the Slovak Bar Association's Working Group on the History of the Legal Profession.
In January 2016, she successfully defended her habilitation thesis and delivered her habilitation lecture at the Faculty of Law of Trnava University.
She currently focuses on the theory of law, the law of associations, the history of the legal profession, and professional self-governance in the legal professions.
